Description:

Primary tools used are HANA Studio, Web IDE and possibly some SAP BW, depending on project needs. Candidates must have the ability to analyze existing SAP BW objects, and determine how those objects can be transformed into Hana calculation views. The position also requires good understanding of ABAP code and SQL, and how it can be converted into graphical calculation views.  Responsible for designing, testing, deploying, and documenting solutions, primarily for SAP systems to support end user reporting and analytics.

• Designs and develops various Hana modeling objects based on existing SAP BW objects
• Analyze existing BW extractor logic and ABAP code, and transforming it into Hana objects using graphical calculation views and SQL.
• Optimizes performance of the calculation views and SQL, as well as recommending the best practices for the new models
• Analyzes requirements for new Hana objects

REQUIRED:

• At least 5 years’ experience in data modeling and design, preferably related to report development
• At least 5 years’ experience with SAP BW data development tools, including designing and developing of SAP BEx Queries, SAP BW Modelling, extraction and loading from SAP source systems
• At least 5 years’ experience in Hana modeling using graphical and scripted calculation views
• Understanding of SAP HCM, CRM and EWM data
• Experience developing or understanding of BW4HANA systems
• Experience working with multiple development, data, and design teams to provide a unified product
